Mrs. Barrett, 89, died Friday, May 20, 2005, in her home in Union.
She was born in Texas, lived in Scott County for a short time and moved to Neshoba County early in life where she made her home. She was a member of Linwood Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Midland Shirt Manufacturer.
Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Barrett; and a son, Robert Keith Barrett.
Survivors include one daughter, Roma Barrett of Union; two sons, Don Barrett of Magee and Jethro Barrett of Union; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dolores Moore of Gulfport; and two stepsisters, Gerri Edwards of Union and Joan Lassier of Atlanta, Ga.
Pallbearers were Roger Reynolds, Ricky Borg, Elton Barrett, Preston Maddox, Woody Chaney and Harold Willis.
