Robert Daniel Brubaker, of Irving, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009. He was born February 13, 1924 in Breckenridge, Texas. He retired from Western Electric in 1981 at the age of 57. He also retired from the Navy Reserves as Chief Petty Officer after 50 years of service after enlisting at the age of 17. Preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Lillian Louise Brubaker, survivors include his daughter Betty C. and husband Dr. Leonard Kornreich of San Diego, California; and granddaughter Jennifer Kornreich, also of San Diego. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Brown's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jody Nichols officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 19, 2009 at Ebenezer Cemetery, Pittsburg, Texas.
