Final Services Today Julia Alexander, 81,
Mrs. Julia Alexander, 81, died at her home on the east side at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon, following a serious illness of two weeks.
Funeral services under the direction of the Rev. Paul Wilson, will be held at the Canaday Chapel at two o'clock this (Friday) afternoon followed by burial in Momence cemetery.
Born in Momence on Nov. 30, 1865, the daughter of Cyril and Julia Sharkey Taylor, she had spent the greater part of her long and busy life in this community where she was well known for her kindness and good deeds. In 1883, she was married in Kankakee to Scott Alexander who preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1912.
Mrs. Alexander is survived by three daughters; Mrs. P. L. Robinson of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. R. A. Claridge, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Earl Strom of Brownstown. There are also six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, two brothers, Jule and Ed Taylor and a sister, Mrs. Delia Cummings of Tuscola.

The parents original names were Julia Chartier and Cyril Therrien they became Julia Sharkey and Cyril Taylor after the 1870 Census in Momence.
