The deceased was born in Butler Co., Ohio, Dec. 25, 1819. He moved to Illinois to the home where he died in 1853.
Nineteen years ago he buried a son aged ten years.
There remain to comfort the widowed mother, three children, the wife of Augustus Meinzer, the wife of Edward Lamport, and a son Scott.
