He and Exa were married on the 17th of November, 1912 at Haynesville, Claiborne Parish, LA.

According to his daughter, Claud may have had a store in Leton, at one time. He also drove a school bus in the area. He was also a Justice of the Peace, the Leton newspaper correspondent for the Minden newspapers, and an active member of the Union Baptist Church.

Claud C. Lee Is Buried Friday At White Hall
Funeral services for Claud C. Lee, 68, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the First Baptist church by the Rev. E. E. Fields, Baptist district missionary of Caddo parish. Mr. Lee's death Thursday at Haynesville General hospital was caused by cancer. He had undergone a lengthy illness.

Interment was in White Hall cemetery, with Masonic graveside rites. Mr. Lee was a member of the Dorcheat lodge. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic lodge.

Survivors are his widow; two sons, Frank Lee of Laurel, Miss., and Halen Lee of Bastrop; a daughter, Mrs. Ezra Carter of Minden, three sisters, Mrs. I.T. Addison and Mrs. Frank Wallace of Leton, and Mrs. John Shaw of Minden; two brothers, John S. Lee of Baton Rouge, and Hollis H. Lee of Haughton; and six grandchildren.

Mr. Lee was a retired farmer and automobile salesman. He was a native of Claiborne parish, having been born near Blackburn and owning a farm in the Leton area where he made his home for many years. In more recent years, he had resided in Haynesville. He was an active and highly respected member of the local First Baptist church. He also was greatly interested in singing convention activities of North Louisiana and South Arkansas and had a wide circle of friends in all walks of life.
