FROSTBURG-Mary Elizabeth Winebrenner,83, of Frostburg died Monday, June 2, 2008 at WMHS Frostburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Born April 8, 1925 in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. and Loretta Virginia (Shaw) Kunkle. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Winebrenner,Sr., son, John Allen Winebrenner, Jr., and sister Peggy Stewart. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Midland.
She was employed by Grant's and Willetts Travel. Surviving are two sons, Robert E. Winebrenner and wife Delma, Lonaconing; and James Richard Winebrenner and wife Beth, Cresaptown; one daughter, Carol Ann Isner and husbnd Cecil, Beverly, WV; daughter in law, Patricia Winebrenner, Bowie; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one brother Donald Kunkle and wife Elizabeth, Frostburg; and a special niece, Rosemary Snyder, Frostburg.
Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A. on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Deacon Fred Passauer as celebrant.
