FROSTBURG John Allen Winebrenner, 81, of Washington Street , died Friday, October 6, 2006, at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born August 27, 1925 in Frostburg, he was the son of the late John and Grace ( Stevie) Winebrenner. He was also preceded in death by one son John Allen Winebrenner, Jr. and a sister Bertha Snyder and a brother Albert Winebrenner. Mr. Winebrenner was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Frostburg, and was employed for 37 years at the Kelly Springfield Tire Co. He was also a member of the Frostburg Eagles # 1273. Surviving are his wife Mary (Kunkle) Winebrenner, two sons Robert E. Winebrenner and wife Delma, Lonaconing, and James Richard Winebrenner, Cresaptown; one daughter Carol Ann Isner and husband Cecil, Beverly, WV; 9 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters Rita Bennett, Frostburg and Gladys Swauger, Frostburg, and a close niece Rosemary Snyder, Frostburg. Friends will be received at the Sowers Funeral Home, P.A. on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Ty Hullinger.
Interment will be in Frostburg Memorial Park.
