Married 2nd, Keturah Conkling, widow of Jacob Dunning, on 11 September 1783.

- Jonathan Bailey, b. 8/29/1784; d. 3/5/1860
- Christina Bailey, b. 5/27/1787; d. 11/3/1865
- Phebe Bailey, b. 9/3/1792; d. 8/2/1852


- Signer of the Association (1775).
- Capt in Col Terry's Regiment (G.4, 8), in Col Smith's Regiment (G. 19, 38).
- By appointment of the Committee of Safety (May 1776), marched his company the length of Long Island took part in the Battle of August 27, 1776.
- Capt in Col Drake's Provisional Regiment (G.10), served his term and moved to Goshen, NY.
- Phebe died and he moved to Stewart Town.
- Participated in the Battle of Minisink (1779).
- Purchased land from Judge Wickham at Ridgbury NY.
