Rainey, who established the Clyde Rainey Printing Co. in 1912, died Sunday (24 Jan 1965) after a long illness.
A resident here since 1909, Rainey was a charter member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club and was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Order of the Eastern Star. He was a member of the First Methodist Church.
Rainey is survived by his wife, Marian; a brother, Homer Rainey of Brownsville, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Clyde Simpson of Corpus Christi; a stepdaughter, Mrs. W. I. Christian of Roswell, N.M., one stepson, Army Col. Fred Barricklow of Washington, D.C.; and two grandchildren."
