Death of Pioneer, Mrs. W. N. Anderson

Mrs. Tennie Anderson, wife of W. N. Anderson and pioneer resident of this community, passed away at the family home in this city at 11:25 a.m. Wednesday. She had been ill about five months, critically ill the past five weeks.

Funeral services were held at the home at 3 p.m. today, conducted by Rev. Elmer Rigney, pastor of the Holiness church. Interment was in Green Hill cemetery. Mrs. Anderson was 70 years of age and had been a resident of this vicinity about 40 years, coming from Bowie, Texas. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include her husband, W. N. Anderson, Davis; a daughter, Mrs. Harley Griffin, Davis, a son Melvin Anderson, Broken Bow, Okla.; a foster son, Nelson Anderson, Davis; a sister, Mrs. Mollie Duncan, Little, Texas; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
