Garlene was born on September 2,
1940 in Rockport, Indiana to the late
Garland D. and Mary E. (Chapman)
Richard.
She was a piano teacher and
accompanist having received many
awards. She was also a member of
Sigma Kappa Sorority.
Garlene is survived by her husband,
James L. Davis; Son, James Richard
Davis and his wife Amy Lynn of
Idaho Falls, ID; Daughter, Kristin
Sue Davis of Fort Wayne, IN;
Grandchildren, Cameron, Devin and
Mackenzie Davis; Brothers, Patrick
Richard and his wife Barbara; Mack
Richard and his wife Becky; Nieces,
Katie Raines and her husband Rod;
Emily Richard; Nephews, Jon
Richard and his wife Stephanie; Jeff
Richard.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, June
20, 2009 at the Boultinghouse
Funeral Home in Rockport, IN. with
Rev. Larry VanCamp officiating.
Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in
Newtonville, IN.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 8
p.m. Friday, June 19, 2009 and from
8 a.m. until the time of service
Saturday at the funeral home.
