Mary W. McKenzie, 84, of Hawkinsville, GA died Saturday, September 2, 2006 in Hawkinsville, GA. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, September 5, 2006 in the Orange Hill Cemetery with Dr. Don McClung and Rev. Steve McGlamery officiating. Mrs. McKenzie was a native of Appling County. She was a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher for many years. Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker and a daycare owner. She was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Alan McKenzie and daughter, Judith Carol McKenzie. -Survivors include two daughters, Jeannie M. Curry and Joanne (Jimmy) Poe, all of Hawkinsville, GA; son, Jay A. (Audrey) McKenzie of Marietta, GA; grandson, Andy (Toree) Poe of Hawkinsville, GA; sisters and brothers, Myrna Dean Mowrey of Tallahassee, Florida, Joella Moreland of Richmond, Virginia, Robinette Strange of Chesapeake, Virginia, W. W. Wolfe of Brandon, Florida, Charles A. Wolfe of Camilla, GA, J. Walker Wolfe of Statesboro, GA, R. Warren Wolfe of Atlanta, GA; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday evening at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or donations of your choice. The family will be at the McKenzie residence in Hawkinsville, GA. Clark Funeral Home Hawkinsville, GA in charge of arrangements.
