Carrie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Requa of Athens, and Perry Peloubet of New York, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Peloubet of this village, were united in marriage on Monday evening at the Episcopal rectory by the Rev. Hobart Whitney. The bride wore a costume of brown satin, and the young couple were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Requa. Mr. and Mrs. Peloubet will make their home in New York City.
Carrie D. Requa, aged nineteen years, wife of Perry Peloubet, died at the home of her father, Fred Requa, on Wednesday morning, following the birth of a child, which also died on the day of its birth. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at the house, the Rev. D.E. Fritts officiating; interment in Mt Hope Cemetery.
