She was a lifelong resident of Jacksboro, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She married her husband of 57 years Bobby Geer in that church as well. They had three daughters Connie, Carol and Carla and she was a very active member of her community and church.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Bobby F. Geer of Jacksboro; her daughters Connie Horn and husband Bill of Wichita Falls, Texas, Carol Miller and husband Ron of Cedar Park, Texas; and Carla kinder and husband David of Breckenridge, Texas; a sister Helen Hamilton and husband Elston of Tulsa, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
There will be a visitation on Thursday evening from 6-7 pm at Coker Funeral Home in Jacksboro, Texas.
Services will be Friday March 20, 2009 at 2 pm at her church First Baptist Church in Jacksboro with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Bro. Dale Berry will be officiating.
