Lorene W. Bacon, 61, of Richmond, died Saturday, June 13, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur C. and Lorene Wakefield.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Cecil B. Bacon, Sr.; two children, Michelle D. Quirley (Dwayne) and Cecil B. Bacon, Jr. (Arlene); five grandchildren, Ja'kara, Christian, Dejah, Malcolm, and Jamon; two step-grandchildren, Kevin and Jasmine; brother-in-law, Dr. Egbert J. Bacon, Sr.; other relatives and devoted friends.
Remains rested at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services were held 1pm Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1720 Mechanicsville Turnpike. Rev. Rodney Hunter, officiated. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
