Clarence "Geno" Kennedy, 80, of Rushville, died June 16, 2009.

Born June 13, 1929 in Rushville, he was the son of Clarence and Jesse (Gross) Kennedy, both deceased. He married Dolores E. "Nanny" Hornaday Jan. 15, 1954; she preceded him in death Dec. 17, 2006.

Mr. Kennedy worked for more than 20 years with PR Mallery in Rushville. He also worked at Schnadig Corp., State Highway and Vibration Eliminator. He was a member of the Rushville Eagles Lodge and was a U.S. Army veteran.

Survivors include sons, Bruce, Jeff (Leca), Tim (Lisa) and Brad Kennedy, all of Rushville; daughter, Angie Kennedy of Rushville; sister, Edith Beard of Rushville; 10 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a brother, Wilford.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Moster Mortuary in Rushville. Burial, with a graveside military service, will follow in Rushville's East Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hancock County.
