Cora Clements Dies Saturday
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at First Baptist church for Cora Clements, 72. She died suddenly July 27 at Hale's Nursing home. Rev. Jim House officiated at the services and interment was in Green Hill cemetery under the direction of Bahner Funeral home.
Pallbearers were Jeff Ayers, D. C. Farr, Doc Robinson, Foster Thomas, Fred Dale and Claude Lovett.
Mrs. Clements was a member of First Baptist church. She was born June 27, 1896, at Elgen, Tex., and had lived in Davis since she was four years old. Her husband, Buddy Clements, preceded her in death in 1953.
Survivors include four sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Joe West and Hick Hunt of Davis, Mrs. Lena Brassfield and Mrs. Fannie Keeling of Ada, and Lorene Hunt and George Steve Hunt of Oklahoma City. One brother, John Hunt, also preceded her in death.
