Ahern of Crockett, brother of William P. Ahern of Rodeo, Miss Nora J. Ahern of Port Costa, Miss Anna J. Ahern of San Francisco, son of the late James and Johanna Cox Ahern; a native of Port Costa, Calif.; aged 59 years.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, August 5, at 9:30 a.m. from the HASSELKUS CROCKETT CHAPEL, 641 Loring Ave., Crockett, Calif.; thence to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where a Requiem Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul commencing at 10 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetry, San Pablo, Calif. Recitation of the Rosary Friday, August 4, at 8:30 p.m.

Ahern – Velikonia
Wedding at St. Rose’s

At a nuptial mass at St. Rose’s Church in Crockett, Saturday, September 14, Miss Madeline Velikonia become the bride of Mr. Francis J. Ahern. The Rev. Father O’Brian officiated.

Following the ceremony about fifty guests attended the reception at the hoe of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Velikonia of Crockett.

Mr. Ahern is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Ahern of Port Costa and a graduate of St. Mary’s College High school of Oakland.
After Honeymooning in the South, they will make their home in Crockett.
