Wesley Orme Wold was born on 7 August 1934, at Tacoma, Washington. He is the son of Oscar E. and Lucy Victoria (Orme) Wold. His father passed away shortly after his birth, in 1940.
On 28 October 1952, at Seattle in Washington, Wesley was inducted into the United States Coast Guard. Where he served until being honorably discharged, on 29 October 1956, at San Francisco in California. His final pay grade at discharge was Boatswains Mate Second Class.
During his service, during the Korean War, Wesley met and fell in love with Sonia Annette Gallaher. They were married on 6 September 1958 in Multinomah County, Oregon. This union ended in divorce, on 7 January 1972 where it started, Multinomah County, Oregon. Sonia later married a Mr. Cooper, and passed away on 4 June 1999.
At the age of seventy years, Wesley passed away. He was laid to rest in the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery.
