Marie and Floyd were married to each other 3 times. They married and then couldn't stand each other, so they divorced. But then couldn't stand not being with each other and got remarried; repeat. :)

She and Floyd lived in Edgar Co., IL until about 1940 and then moved to Toledo, Lucas Co., OH. They had 4 children: Stella Katherine "Kate", Clara Bell, Floyd Charles, and Unknown who died as an infant.

Marie L. Northrup, 80, of Willow Creek, Toledo, died Wednesday in Riverside Hospital. She was the widow of Floyd. She is survived by her daughters, Mrs. Katherine King and Mrs. Clara Brock; son, Floyd Jr.; half-brother, William Mullen; sister, Mrs. Frances Cravins; half-sister, Mrs. Esther Alldredge; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be Saturday at 10:30 AM in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home where visitation will be from 2-9 PM on Friday.
