OBITUARY - Plain Dealer, Wabash (IN)

Funeral services for Mrs. D.F. Brewer, 72, whose death occurred Thursday evening, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wire funeral home. Rev. Fred Wolff, pastor of the Christain church will officiate. Burial will be in Falls cemetery. The body was removed to the Wire funeral home and was returned to the late residence Friday afternoon.

The death of Mrs. Brewer, a life resident of the county, occurred at 6 o'clock Thursday evening in her home at 257 Ohio street, after an illness of several years. She was a patient sufferer throughout her long illness.

She was Alice W. Curry, daughter of John and Louisa Curry, and was born in Wabash county April 14, 1867. On Nov. 25, 1886, she was united in marriage to Frank Brewer. Last November they celebrated their fifty-third wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Brewer was a life member of the Wabash Christian church and took active part until her health failed several years ago. She attended the Wabash schools, also was a member of the Royal Neighbors club.

Surviving Mrs. Brewer are the husband; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Goldsbarry of the Walnut Tree pike, south of Wabash; a brother, William Curry, Wabash, and a gradndaughter, Mrs. Perry McClintock of Delphi. Her parents, two sons, a brother and a half sister preceded her in death.
