Clarence A. Allison, 65, of Avon Lake, a native of Wellsville, died Wednesday night at his home following a long illness. Mr. Allison had resided in Avon Lake for 26 years and was a retired foreman in the Jones & Laughlin Steel Co. plant in Cleveland. His wife, Gladys died in 1964. He was a member of Bigelow Masonic Lodge and Thatcher Chapter, both of Cleveland. Surviving are two sons, Burgess B. Allison of Norfolk, Va., and Thomas C. Allison of Avon Lake; a sister, Mrs. Mary Dick, in Florida, and six grandchildren. Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Burmeister Funeral Home in Avon Lake. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery, Wellsville. Friends may call tonight at the funeral home in Avon Lake.
