Edith Huth, age 90, of Karnes City, Texas, passed away June 17, 2016. She was born April 7, 1926 in Karnes County to Horace Smith and Dotie Holcombe Smith. Edith was a homemaker and rancher. She was a member of the Garden Club and former member of the First Baptist Church in Coy City, Texas. Edith and Robert Lee Huth were married on Jan. 19, 1944 in Karnes City. She is survived by her sons Robert Huth and Gary (Jo Ann) Huth; brother Dayton Smith and granddaughters Kalista and Shana Huth. Edith is preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert Lee Huth; daughter Carol Huth; sister Eunice Querner and brother Jerry Smith. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Sunday June 19, 2016 at Rhodes Funeral Home in Karnes City. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, June 20, 2016 at the New Bremen Cemetery. Brother Pat Traxler will officiate. Funeral services are entrusted to Rhodes Funeral Home, Inc. of Karnes City.
