Edna M. Adcock was born September 16, 1915 in Antlers, Oklahoma to John and Eva (Coffee) Milam. She passed from this life June 11, 2009 in Hugo, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. Edna was born in 1915 with a twin brother named Chuck. She married Louis Adcock in Hugo, Oklahoma on January 13, 1940. Edna was a homemaker and stay at home mother. In the 1960's, she assumed the care of her mother. When Mrs. Milam passed, Edna entered the workforce as a clerk at Puckett Dry Goods Store. She loved birdwatching, was an excellent cook, and was a member of Eastern Star and the Methodist Church. Edna is preceded in death by her husband: Louis Adcock; parents: John & Eva Milam; & brothers: Chuck Milam, Os Milam, & Paul Milam. She is survived by her daughter: Martha Adcock of Garland, Texas; along with many friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 13, 2009 at Mills & Coffey Chapel with interment following at Hall Cemetery. Rev. Robert Duran will officiate.
