Cecil Stiawalt, 57, died Monday at the Grisell Memorial Hospital in Ransom. He was born July 9, 1920 in Beeler. He married Ada Boese Sept. 24, 1939 in Bazine. He lived in Ness City all his life.
He was a service station owner and operator, a member of the First Baptist Church and IOOF and was president of the Golden Belt Antique Auto Clubs, all of Ness City.
Survivors include the widow; one son, Bill of Ness City; one daughter, Mrs. Vickie Donnewitz of Garden City; mother, Mrs. Mabel Stiawalt of Ness City; two brothers, Claude of McPherson and Wayne of Ness City; and six grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Ness City with the Rev. J.C. Stork officiating. Burial will be in the Ness City Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Fitzgeral Funeral Home in Ness City. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
