He graduated from Brigham Young College and the Agricultural College at Logan, Utah. He married Effie Lorena Sargent 2 January 1913. He served as County Agricultural Agent in Millard County, (Hinckley,) Utah; later in Provo, Utah. In 1925 he bought a farm in Paradise, Utah. His health became impaired,
and he passed away 19 November 1929.
