Amanda Kyle is the daughter of Wesley Harrison Kyle and his first wife, Amanda Swann. Amanda Swann had 3 children (Sarah Frances Kyle, William Kyle and the youngest Amanda Kyle. Amanda Swann Kyle died in childbirth giving birth to Amanda Rebecca Kyle. The Texas, Death Certificates, 1903–1982 for Amanda Kyle Buford lists her mother as Miss Swann. Amanda Swann is listed as his wife on Wesley Harrison Kyle's application for pension from the Florida Indian Wars. Sarah Frances Kyle is my mother's paternal great grandmother.
