Rosemary Cockrum of Shepherd, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at the age of 59. She was born in Livingston, Texas to Luke Matthews and Ladys Hood Kyle who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughters, Kendra Cotton, Krystal Stout, and Kimberly Keen; her son, Clyde "Tommy" Cockrum; her sister, Sherry Murphy; her brother, Winfred Kyle; grandchildren Clint, Damien and Kolten Cockrum, Loria and Devin Cotton, Destiny, Danny, Jaden Stout, Trinity, Dawson and Lily Keen; great-grandson, Cayden Allen Cockrum; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 20, 2007, 10:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Coldspring, Texas. Pastor Carolyn Aycock conducted the service with interment at Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd.
