Arvia Lloyd Allen Sr., 87, a resident of Bon Secour, died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2005.
Survivors include a son, Arvia Allen Jr. of Foley; two daughters, Sue Allen of Bon Secour, and Philomene Meriwether of Birmingham; a sister, Juanita Anderson of Bon Secour; two brothers, John Allen of Bon Secour and Tommy S. Allen of Santa Rosa, Fla.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 25, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Bon Secour. Interment followed at Witt Cemetery in Bon Secour. Visitation was held Saturday, Sept. 24 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.
