Jerry F. Dean, 57, of Carl Junction, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2002. He was a counselor at the Family Life Center.
No services are planned. The family will be at the home at 108 Joplin St., Carl Junction.
Arrangements are under the direction of Abbott Funeral Home, Baxter Springs, Kan.

Friends and family held a small memorial for Jerry.
Jerry owned and operated Carl Junction Pick Up Service, putting himself through college. Taught at the Carl Junction Schools, counselor at Wyandotte Schools, real estate salesman/owner, council man and law enforcement officer for City of Carl Junction. He was a great guy and a great brother.
