Funeral services for Johnnie Nell "Sis" Kilpatrick Gorton will held February 16, 2016 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA. Interment will follow at Farmerville City Cemetery, Farmerville, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Mrs. Gorton was born on October 3, 1929 in Farmerville, LA and passed away on February 13, 2016 in West Monroe, LA.

She lived her life in West Monroe, worked all her life while raising a family. Sis was known for meeting everyone with her beautiful smile. She was kind and generous to her family, friends, coworkers, and especially animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. E.N. and Effie (Hicks) Kilpatrick; and her brother, Kenneth Dale (K. D.) Kilpatrick.

Mrs. Gorton is survived by her three children; Noel Clary and his wife, Roseline, Elizabeth Gorton, and Johnnie Raye Carson and her husband, Scott; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Tex R. Kilpatrick and his wife, Carole; and sister-in-law, Anne Burford Kilpatrick; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Walker, Mike Fautherie, Tyler Ford, and Hunter Ford.

The family extends a special thank you to Ridgecrest Nursing Center Staff for all their love and support
