Victor D. Loftiss, 84, of 1075 Craft Road, a retired supervisor with Illinois Central Gulf (rail road), died at 12:55 p.m. yesterday at Methodist Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Hernando, Miss Funeral Home with burial in Stephenson Chapel Cemetery in Memphis.
He was a member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church in Lake Cormorant, Miss., the Horn Lake (Miss.) Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star.
He leaves a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Richerson of Memphis; four sons, Charles A. Loftiss, John A. Loftiss and William E. Loftiss, all of Memphis and Thomas J. Loftiss of Augusta, Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Velma Copeland of High Point, N.C., 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
