Dorothy M. Hill, 87 of Lake Dr. Parkersburg, died November 5, 2002 at Treyburn Rehab Center in Durham, NC. She was born in Toledo, OH a daughter of the late Herbert J. and Mabel C. O'Neill Crabbs. She was a member of Stout Memorial United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.

Surviving is a son Ernest Ficus Hill, Jr. of Murraysville, PA, 2 daughters: Lelah Mae Kanour of Durham, NC and Susan Lynn Magyar of Parkersburg, 3 sisters: Marian Campbell of Pittsburgh, PA, Virginia Olson of Atlantic City, NJ and Sylvia Jones of Bowie, IN, 5 grandchildren: Julia Christine Kanour Ackerman, Cheryl Anne Kanour Ferry, Nicole Renee Kanour, Kristen Magyar, Lauren Magyar; 6 great grandchildren: Lucy Jayne Ackerman, Joy Christina Ackermen, Sophia Rose Ackerman, Meka Ruth Ferry, Eden Willow Ferry & Katherine Quinn Ferry.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest F. Hill Sr., and a sister Pauline Crabbs.

Funeral services will be Saturday 1:00 PM at Stout Memorial United Methodist Church, Reverend Lindsay Thorp officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg and from 12-1 at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Stout Memorial U. M. Church, 3329 Broad St. Parkersburg, WV 26104.
