Benedict Langley was born in Daviess County, Missouri to William Henry and Nancy (Carrier) Langley. He was also know as BD, Ben, and BennieDick. About 1897, according to his son, He moved the family from Missouri to Oklahoma. He and Sarah had 6 known children. He died in Pontotoc County,Oklahoma. The most interesting fact about Benedict is, he was a member of the AntiHorse Thief Association.
