DOROTHY BOLL ROUTE 4
Dorothy boll, 74 of Route 4 died at 9:40 p.m. April 22 at Bartholomew County hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Boll was born May 17, 1899, at Taylorsville to George and Luella Smock Mounts. On April 12, 1925, in Bartholomew county she became the wife of William R. Boll, who survives. She and her husband resided on their farm in the Lowell community the past 49 years. Mrs. Boll was a member of the New Hope Christian church since 1925, was a charter member of the DLTL women's club, and a member of the New Hope Ladies Aid Society and the German Township Home Economics club. She was active in these organizations until failing health prevented her from being active. Also surviving are two sisters, Mabel Mounts of 1520 Washington and Mrs. Cecil Mabe of 1209 Lafayette. She was preceded in death by a sister, Estelle Schuder.
