Obituary - Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Funeral Home
Funeral service for Geraldine Rae Adkins will be 2:30 p.m., Wed., Dec. 29, at Musgrove-Merriott-Smith Chapel with Chaplain Jim Collier officiating. A graveside service will be held at 5 p.m. at Mountain Station Cemetery, east of Hartshorne. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m., Tues., at the Chelsea Funeral Home & Crematory.

Geraldine died Sat., Dec. 25, at Claremore Regional Hospital at the age of 51.

The daughter of Gerald Rae and Barbara Janette (Shepherd) High was born Oct. 30, 1953 in Seattle, WA. On Oct. 20, 1989, Geraldine married Eddie Wayne "Ed" Adkins in Yakima, WA. In 1991, they moved to Chelsea. Geraldine worked the last 7 years at the Claremore Veterans Center in the kitchen and as cook. Ed died April 21, 2001. Geraldine later married Dale Junior Rose, and he died July of this year. Geraldine enjoyed gardening, animals, and had a passion for collecting things. Most of all Geraldine had a love for people and was always there to help anyone she could.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ed Adkins and Dale Rose; her parents; and her grandmother, Clara Elizabeth High.

She is survived by her boyfriend, Bobby Rose of Tulsa; daughter, Corie Price and husband, Joe of Yakima, WA; sons: George Duncan of Walla Walla, WA, and Robert Duncan and wife, Antha of Alluwe; brother, Gerald High and wife, Leann of Onalaska, WA; sisters: Tikey Manjarezz and husband, Sam of Topinish, WA, and Cheryl McDaniel and husband, Mike of Onalaska, WA; grandchildren: Tori Price, Lyle Duncan, Ryann Duncan, Raelyn Duncan, and 2 grandchildren on the way.
