Waldron Jacob, 82, a pioneer resident of Noble County and for many years one of the prosperous farmers of this section, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Albert Rimmel, 4 miles northwest of this city, Thursday evening. Death followed a brief illness and resulted from liver complaint. Born in Ohio, he came to this county with his parents when he was very young. He was twice married, his second wife dying some 12 years ago. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. A. Rimmel of Orange Twp, and Mrs. James Burnett of Rome City; a son, Sherman, who resides on the home farm; and a sister, Mrs. George Hilliard of Brimfield. Obsequies Sunday at the Baptist Church at Rome City. + Poppy Scrapbook
