ADAMS-GARDINER
The wedding Bells of last weeks prophecy have rung at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Gardiner. On Wednesday evening, Jan. 16, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Emma M. Gardiner to Mr. Sherwood Adams, both of White Earth. The bride was attired in white silk. The groom wore the conventional black. Only the immediate friends and relatives were present.
After the ceremony, which took place at five o'clock, the company was seated at the table spread with a sumptuous wedding feast consisting of the best substantials of life and the delicacies appropriate to the occasion. Rev j. F. Cheeseman, the officiating pastor, had the pleasure of carving a large roast turkey.
A brother of the groom acted as best man and a sister of the bride as the best lady.
After dinner the guests had the pleasure of writing their names in the wedding booklet.
They received many handsome and useful presents.
They will reside on the bride's homestead, Mr. Adams having proved up on his.
