Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday (April 13th) at the Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Chapel for Charles James Anthon, retired R. F. & P. Railroad carpenter, who died at his home in Fredericksburg. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Anthon, who was 86 years old, was employed by the railroad for more than 30 years. He was a native of Stafford County.
