Bernadette Morley, 77, of Route 2, Riverside Drive, former owner and operator of Morley 's Hotel, died Sunday afternoon in the intensive care unit of A. Barton Hepburn Hospital. She had been a patient at the hospital one day.
A prayer service will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Cathedral, with Rev. Philip T. Allen, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Foxwood Memorial Park.
Surviving are her husband, William F. Morley Sr.; three sons, two daughters, 24 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A brother, Edward Brabant, died previously.
Born in Ogdensburg on Jan. 25, 1911, a daughter of Edward and Emma Corrice Brabant, she was a graduate of Ogdensburg Free Academy.
She married William F. Morley Sr. June 29, 1929, at Notre Dame Church, with Rev. P.S. Garand officiating.
The couple owned and operated Morley's Hotel on Riverside Drive in Ogdensburg until the sale of the business many years ago. They were summer residents of Riverside Drive and winter residents of Daytona Beach, Fla.
Mrs. Morley was a communicant of St. Mary's Cathedral and a member of the Ogdensburg Zonta Club.
