"Harriet was for many years a resident of Fenton, living in the homestead on South St. now owned by J.M. Fikes. With her husband, she settled in Tyrone 60 years ago and reared a large family before moving to Fenton.
Since her husband's death, she has lived with her son, Egbert Wakeman, in Tyrone. She is the mother of ten children, five of whom survive her. Her funeral was at the Parshallville ME Church."
