Mrs. W.H. Futrelle, mother of Jacques Futrelle, died at her home near Adrian Sunday morning last after an illness covering a long period
She was 65 years of age and moved with her Husband from Butts County to Adrian about two years ago. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son and one sister, and a large host of friends in the community where she was known. She was a member of the Baptist Church and a woman of high character and blameless life.
The interment was held in the cemetery of Poplar Springs in Johnson County Sunday afternoon, and a very large number of friends gathered to pay the last tribute of respect to her memory. Dr. J.C. Brewton of Mt. Vernon had charge of the funeral services
