Visitation is after 10 am Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Lakewood Funeral Home, graveside services are 11 am in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Allene was born and raised in Copiah County, MS. She was the daughter of the late Charles Drane and Catherine Cagle Drane. She retired from Gulf Oil Company where she was employed many years as a bookkeeper. Miss Drane was a member of the former West Park Methodist Church of Jackson.
Allene was preceded in death by her siblings, sisters, Delma Douglas, Sybil Avery, Bonnie Anderson, and Mae Harrison, brothers, D.B. Drane and Clarence Drane.
She is survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many friends.
