Funeral services for Annie Anderson, 90, Ben Wheeler, were held at 10 a.m. November 30 in the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with Revs. Mike Boyette and Ronnie Chesher officiating.
Burial was in the Holly Springs Cemetery in Martins Mill.
Mrs. Anderson died November 28, 1994, in a Dallas nursing home.
She was born January 9, 1904, in Martins Mill to Emmett and Alpha A. Eaton Prestridge and was a life-long resident of the Holly Springs Community. She was a member of the Holly Springs Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Erskin Anderson, in 1993, and a daughter, Lometa Courtney, in 1988.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Nona and Bob Goble, Garland; son-in-law and wife, Bill and Norma Courtney, Martins Mill; sister, Theaola Allen, Canton; two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Tony and Caren Courtney, Martins Mill, and Maxey Courtney, Austin; granddaughter and grandson-in-law, Cheri Goble-Body and Alex Body, Garland; and two great-granddaughters.
Pallbearers were Herman Johnson, Herman Johnson, Jr., Alex Body, Allen Sides, Douglas Hassell and Arvis Rozell.
