Funeral for Lewis Henry Smith, 82, 1615 S Main St. Who died Monday evening at the Albany General Hospital after a short Illiness, will be 10 a.m Thrusday at Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayn Bryant officiating. Burial follow in the Willamette Memorial Mausoleum. He was born July 6, 1890 in Mitchell County, Kan. He worked as a mechanic in a garage in Kansas prior to coming to Albany in 1941 and was employed at Simpson Plywood. He Married Bertah E Smith Nov, 30, 1911 in Glen Elder, Kan. She survives. He was a member of the First Christian Church. In addition to his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs William (Mary) Slater of Apache Junction, Ariz. and Mrs Claude (Opal)Pfander of Eldora, Iowa: two Sisters, Mrs Herman Kruger of Norfolk, Neb. and Mrs Howard Keddie of San Diego Calf; Six grandchildren; nine Greatgrandchildern. A daughter preceded him in death in March 1972.
