Croswell --- Alvina F. Distelrath, 78, of Croswell, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 1997 in the home of her daughter in Fort Gratiot.

She was born April 19, 1919 in Marine City, the daughter of the late Lovell Pemberton and Alvina (Lespearnce) Pemberton. She married Arnold Distelrath on Jan. 21, 1956 in Angola, Ind. He died May 3, 1983.

Mrs. Distelrath was a member of St. Patrick Church, Croswell Rebecca Lodge #454. She was an extension homemaker for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Roberta (John) Beedon-Beeler of Fort Gratiot and Roselie (Bill) Beedon-Desonia of Idaho; one sister, Eva Rowley of Port Huron; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell. The Rev. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Lewiston.

Visiting hours are 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.
