She was born Dec. 31, 1908, in Ripley to Fred Butcher and Lillie (Johnson) Butcher.
She married Otto Wayne "Jack" McGinty on Dec. 31, 1928, in Stillwater. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Barbara Grimes; and one brother, Alvin Butcher.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ruth Koutz of San Diego, Calif., and Margaret Brown of Grand Rapids, Mich.; and one brother, Melvin Butcher of Minneapolis, Minn.
