Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 9 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre for Roman Botz, who died Saturday at St. Michael's Hospital. Rev. James Statz will officiate with interment following in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday and 8-10 a.m. Tuesday at the Patton-Schad Funeral Home in Sauk Centre. Sauk Centre Seniors will pray at 4:30 p.m. followed by parish prayers at 7:30 p.m. and Knights of Columbus at 8 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home in Sauk Centre.

Survivors include four children, Everett (Patty Berg) Botz of Phoenix, AZ, Jeanette (Donald) Barrett of Centerville, Jeneva (Richard) Holden of Brooklyn Park, Judy (Donald) Koch of Mound; 16 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander and Mary (Fischer) Botz, wife, Marian on June 29, 1998, two sons, Virgil and Roman W. Botz, three grandchildren, Douglas and Robert Botz, and Susan Barrett, and two brothers, Arnold and Herbert Botz.
