He died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 1991 in St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Estancia, N.M., and was a longtime Crosbyton resident. He married Annie Pearl Steadham on July 22, 1932, in Clovis, N.M. He was a farmer and operated a service station for several years.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Frank of Bayside, Les of Los Angeles and Randall of Crosbyton; two daughters, Barbara Fowler of Arlington and Jenalou Hunsucker of Austin; nine grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
