Obit: Tacoma News Tribune B-4 Fred S Cook 23 Aug 2001 - Fred passed away Friday, 17th of August. He was born in Tacoma June 14, 1919 to Fred and Clara Cook.

He is survived by wife Florence, of 58 years and 5 children. Joyce Snow (Lewis), Fred Cook (Michelle), Diane Cilenti (Rudy), Kevin Cook (Jean) and Valerie Cook; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

He retired from Tacoma Boat in 1984. He loved bowling and had many friends at Tower Lanes. He also enjoyed garage sales every Saturday. He was a loving father and husband.

He is survived by a sister Ruth, the last of the original Cook family and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation would be appreciated. Services will be at 1 o'clock, Saturday, 25 August at Retsil Veterans Home and Community Church, Port Orchard, WA.
